How to take job photos that win more work
Take the before and after photo from the same spot, in daylight, with the phone held level, and write down the job type and town. That is enough for a strong project gallery.
Shoot the before photo first
It is easy to forget once work starts. Step back far enough to show the whole area so the change is obvious later.
Match the angle
Stand in the same place for the after photo. Matching shots make the difference clear at a glance, even on a small phone screen.
Use good light and clean frames
Daylight works best. Move tools, trash cans and vehicles out of the shot. Wipe the camera lens; a smudge makes every photo look hazy.
Respect privacy
Ask the homeowner before posting, and leave out house numbers, license plates, faces and anything personal inside the home.
Add a short caption
Job type and town are enough, such as "Shingle roof replacement, Orlando." It helps visitors and search engines understand the work.
