Site Building Bros

Your information, handled with care

Privacy policy

This notice explains how Site Building Bros collects and uses information through sitebuildingbros.com, its customer dashboard, and the website tools we operate for customers. It applies to our own service; a customer business may also provide its own privacy notice for its website visitors.

Information we handle

We receive the information you submit when you create an account, buy a plan, fill out a design brief, upload photos, request edits, contact us, or use our website assistant. This can include names, contact details, business details, website content, messages, and files. Booking tools can collect visitor contact details, requested times, and appointment details for the business receiving the booking. We also receive basic technical information, such as browser and device data, IP address, and security or diagnostic records needed to operate and protect the site.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and manage subscriptions, build and maintain websites, respond to questions, send service and appointment messages, provide requested booking or payment tools, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Questions submitted to our AI assistant are processed to generate a response; please do not put passwords, payment-card numbers, or other sensitive information in chat messages.

Service providers and payments

We use service providers to run our website, authentication, hosting, database, email, anti-abuse checks, AI features, and payment integrations. These include Lovable, Supabase, Cloudflare, and Stripe where those tools are used. Stripe processes payment-card details for Site Building Bros subscriptions and, when a customer business enables its own payment tools, for that business. We receive payment and subscription status, but do not need your full card number to manage your website plan. Information submitted to a customer business through its website may be shared with that business so it can respond or fulfill a booking.

Customer-owned Cal.com booking

When a business enables Cal.com booking, its website links visitors to that business’s Cal.com booking page. Cal.com handles availability, booking details, confirmations, and calendar connections under its own privacy policy. Site Building Bros stores only the public booking link and whether to display it; we do not receive that business’s Cal.com calendar credentials or automatically import its bookings.

Google Calendar connections

If a business owner chooses to connect Google Calendar, we request access to calendar availability and events so its visitors can see open times and book appointments. We use that access to check availability and create or cancel appointment events for that business. Connection credentials are stored securely on the server, not shown to website visitors. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising. A business owner can disconnect the integration in its dashboard or revoke access in its Google Account settings.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cookies and advertising

We use browser storage and cookies needed for sign-in, security, and core site functions. We also keep campaign tags (such as source, medium, and campaign name) and the referring website in first-party browser storage. We use those tags for up to 30 days and discard expired tags the next time we read them. If you create an account, we associate those tags with account, trial, website-progress, and paid invoice milestones so we can see which marketing works. We do not store a full referring URL, advertising click ID, payment-card details, or chat messages in that campaign record. This first-party report is available only to Site Building Bros administrators. It is separate from third-party advertising pixels.

We use Meta Pixel on our own Site Building Bros marketing pages to measure page visits, account registration, checkout starts, and free-trial starts. If your first website-plan payment succeeds after the trial, our server also sends one Purchase event with the amount and currency paid. A $0 trial is not a purchase, and renewals are not counted as new purchases. Meta may receive the page address, event name, public page information such as pricing, browser and device information, IP address, its own cookie identifier, and a one-way account identifier for matching. We do not send names, email addresses, payment-card details, chat messages, or customer-site activity in these events. Meta may use this information under its own privacy policy. Meta measurement is on unless you turn it off below or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. Your choice also applies to our first-payment event.

Meta ads measurement: off

Retention and security

We keep information while needed to provide the service, resolve requests, meet legal or accounting obligations, and maintain appropriate records of transactions and website work. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it according to our operational needs and applicable requirements. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security.

Your choices and questions

You can update certain account and business information in your dashboard and disconnect optional integrations. To ask what information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email us. We will review requests in light of the account, our obligations, and applicable law. This service is intended for adults and businesses, not children under 13.
